REVIEW FOR “BILL & DAVID’S ‘SKETCHY AT BEST’ “:
PREPARE FOR THE LASTEST L.A. RIOT
Sketch comedy show raises the bar, as well as the roof
By Richard London (The Orange County Register)

There aren’t many moments during “Sketchy At Best” when there’s not something to laugh at. Written by Bill Rademaekers and Dave Schapiro, and performed by members of Acme Comedy Theater and Groundlings, the comedy is unrelenting for the tight 55 minute running time…

The evening is capped off by Chip Chinery’s brilliant turn as Clarence from “It’s A Wonderful Life,” who must compete with Jacob Marley (Jeff Lewis) from “A Christmas Carol” to teach a man the value of his life.

The writers and performers of “Sketchy At Best” deliver on every level — smart, silly, at moments even thoughtful.
