I shot a commercial for “Major League Baseball Authentic Apparel”. It was a “spec” spot, being shot on “speculation”. What? The ad agency and production house thought that they had such a great idea, that they wanted to shoot it and try to sell it later to Major League Baseball.
In the commercial, I play a car dealer who let’s Ken Griffey, Jr. drive off the lot with a Jaguar, just by signing on the dotted line. I’m such a jackass, because it’s actually just a stocky white guy in an Authentic Major League Baseball Griffey jersey.
It was pretty funny. Time will tell if they can sell the spot. We are hopeful, because the ad and production people sunk a lot of money into it!
