I shot a commercial for Derek Daly’s Performance Auto Driving School. No, I’m not kidding and yes it is a real business. I used to do a bit eons ago entitled “The Ted Kennedy ‘Up Periscope’ Driving School”. Derek Daly’s sounds only a li’l more plausible.

If you want to learn how to drive race cars, this is the place to go. In the spot, I walk over to my neighbor’s garage to see that he has purchased all kinds of woodworking equipment. When I asked him if he knows how to use all this stuff, he states, while cutting a board on a table saw, that you can pretty much teach yourself. Then he severs his limb at the forearm. He raises the stump to eye level to get a closer look. Thanks to TV magic, it looks real. Pretty cool!

They say that it will probably only air on The Speed Channel. As they say: Check with your local cable or satellite provider to make sure you see my most obscure commercial. Or check “Chip’s Clips” on my website from time to time. They have not finished it, so I don’t have a copy yet.
