Me and my giant head played the NBC Censor in this spot for potty-mouthed Chelsea Handler’s new sitcom.
I spend the day on set for a Pier 1 Imports commercial. In this spot, I improvised most of my lines as the Talking Reindeer Christmas Card Holder, as the lovely and talented Anne Leighton pretended this was normal.
I was back for more “Wilfred” action. Randall Einhorn was the director. I’d heard of him, but could not place him, so I looked him up on IMDB.com. Turns out we are the same age and we are both from Cincinnati. So when I met him on set, I presented him with something from my private stock: a can of Skyline Chili – a Cincinnati favorite. He got a kick out of that, as no doubt his colon would later. Here I am with fellow recurring friends J.P. Manoux & Kari Coleman.
This week I guest-starred on a funny new show called “Wilfred”. I play a guy in an insane asylum who may be a patient or may be a doctor. My scenes were mostly with Elijah Wood & John Michael Higgins.
Christopher Guest directed me and a Sweathog in this Viagra spot. I played a bowler who was mad at his buddy for blowing off our bowling night and sending a horrible bowler in his place. Meanwhile, my buddy who is not pictured, played by Freddie “Boom-Boom” Washington (Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs) is at home with his wife, trying to pick up the ole 7-10 split if you know what I’m talkin’ ’bout. I think you do. Right? Yeah, you do.
What the ad people are calling a Ciroc “movie” has been released. P. Diddy & P. Chip, with special appearances by Aziz Ansari and Julia Voth. I was going to wear a kilt, but they cut that at the last minute because my calves would have upstaged everyone! Once that happened, I was not so concerned about the distinction between an Irish brogue and Scottish dialect. I settled on the Liam Neeson.
I spent the night with Sean Puffy P.Diddy SeanJean Combs. Well, I played his Scottish butler in an all-night commercial shoot. Aziz Ansari was also in the Ciroc Vodka spot. My ruddy whiteness and larger headed-ness have never been more apparent.
My second episode of Better Off Ted aired tonight. My character, TV’s Ryan Mallory, was the subject of the main story line – which was fun.
